Dog Licenses

Did you know that every dog living within the city limits over the age of 8 months must be licensed by the city of Castlegar?

Did you know that if your dog or puppy is picked up by the city's animal control officer that the dog would be held for only 72 hours before it is euthanized because we do not know who owns the dog?

If a lost dog ahs been licensed, it is much easier for us to assist in finding the dog's rightful owner.

Please protect your dog and all appropiate pets by purchasing a tag. Why not buy yout pet the gift that could save their life?
