Introduction

The Castlegar Fire Department works out of a new centrally located fire hall, recently built in 1999. The Fire Chief, Deputy Fire Chief, and 40 Paid-On-Call Firefighters, man the fire hall, the 4 engines, and the satellite station at the Castlegar Municipal Airport.
