Temporary Water Outage in Arrow Lakes Drive and Lakeview Street Area

Earlier today, Civic Works crews were advised of an unexpected water main break in the Arrow Lakes Drive and Lakeview Street area.

Crews shut off the water to stop the leak while they determined what repairs are required. Unfortunately, significant repairs are required, and City crews and contractors will not be able to resume the repairs until early on Monday, October 24.

As a result, residents in the area will remain without water until the repairs on completed on Monday, October 24. This impacts residents in the following areas:

  • Arrow Lakes Drive
  • Lakeview Street
  • Ferry Avenue
  • Prince Avenue
  • Short Avenue

Tips during a water outage

  • Get enough clean water for bathing, brushing teeth, washing dishes, cooking, and drinking.
  • Clean your hands using waterless hand sanitizers to conserve water.

The City apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates residents’ patience while the repairs are completed. Once water service is restored, the City will update impacted residents directly and share the information on the City’s website and Facebook page.
