NOTICE OF WEED CONTROL

As per the City of Castlegar Pest Management Program, the City will be undertaking weed control starting May 24, 2019 at the following areas:

• Spirit Square;
• Library ampitheatre; and
• river rock road shoulder at Columbia Ave & 7th Street

Areas will be treated anytime on or after May 24, 2019, weather permitting.

Weed control in these areas will be completed with a product called Eco-Clear which is horticultural vinegar (acetic acid).  Signage will be posted at locations prior to treatment, as required.  This work is expected to be ongoing for approximately two (2) weeks.
